After Perak Speaker Sivakumar ordered the suspension of BN MB & Excos Perak people are torn between 2 claimants to power, where none seems to command a total upper hand. To overcome this dilemma numerous actions are being taken by all sides to assert the authority over the other side;
* UMNO is seeking QC’s opinions to challenge the PR’s claim to power;
* pro-UMNO groups are stirring up pro-royalty sentiments, despite their own inconsistencies; pro-PR groups are doing their rounds in Perak to explain their case for a dissolution of the State Assembly;
*Nizar has meanwhile decided to move out of the official MB residence to continue his administration operation from the party HQ;
*The Speaker had written to the Perak Sultan to seek the starting of a new State Assembly seating so as to allow PR to move a vote of confidence in Nizar’s position; BN’s MB Zambry assert that he will attend the State Assembly seating despite being suspended by the all-powerful Speaker-whose power is paradoxically created 50 years ago by UMNO to restrict the Opposition;
* BN’s MB Zambry announced the adoption of the `change’ slogan to kick start his Federally supported state government; It bears a resemblance to Gerakan’s adoption of the similar slogan just before the Mar 8th 2008 general elections which ended disasterously for the party;
* Meanwhile the 3 `frogs’ continue to dissappear from public views. Wonder how they can perform their duty to represent their constituencies?
*the Parliamentary election in Bukit Gantang is shaping up to be a referendum on the 2 MB’s and the parties behind them;
