The high water level in Lemanak River today caused a lower voters turn out: out of 448 registered voters only 366 turn up to vote. A few boats actually capsized on the way to send passengers to vote.

Mafrel observers who had come back from the ulu areas at 2.30pm said that the polling situation in the location is fine, despite a lack of communication network. The observer had been incontactible for 2 days and only resurfaced after returning to Lubuk Antu.

Mafrel observers spotted 2 more suspected phantom voters buses at Bkt Selambau-1 at Taman Ria Jaya and another one heading towards Tasek Apong. The passengers claimed to be BN supporters from Alor Setar. Photos were taken of them for documentation purpose by the observers.
